The information and opinions expressed in your 'Democracy for a Change' artical, touched on everything but the fact that Democracy is a proven failure. An obvious concept- supported by the evidence of over 2500 years of human experimentation, starvation, mind numbing slaughter, and spiritual forclosure. Simply put: Democracy is a mockery of the human condition. It's cause has been fisted into the human subconscience by those you have chosen as your leaders. It is a debilitating psychological tool, designed to manipulate and control the basis of all social behavior. It's method of implementation is largly reliant on the abject ignorance of the populace, and individual disregard for the outcomes of other individuals. It is a sick and deceitful mind game- controlled by those you entrust to authority. It is a mob psychology, wherein everyone has an opinion, and an agenda to 'protect.' Yet at the same time, the individual in that society is systematically robbed of self-identity and self government. Coupled with the collective suicidal myth of "free enterprise," and supported only by the continuing destruction of Earth's resource base, it is the perfect tool of the discorporate "self." As long as human beings continue to operate in this pathnogenic form of viable-dumb, continue to support it's implementation by thier greed driven participation in ecconomy, and their automatic payment of taxes and insurances to anyone that will entertain thier delusions of 'Empire,' the future on this planet will remain a very bleak and desperate landscape indeed.
