Those Who Must Never Be Named

no_name.jpgThere are a people- these people have been around for thousands of years. Yet, they are not a people with their own culture, spirit, art, philosophy or science. Like leeches, they suck the life from every culture they have ever encountered in history. They enter a village and seem, at first, friendly and in need of food and shelter, or even guidance. They eventually take root, slowly acclimating themselves to their new found environment. But they do not meld into this environment like most long lost family members. They secretly long to turn their visit into an invasion and transformation. This invasion is covert. Seemingly, they assist in building or adding to the society. But in reality, they are learning all they can, so they can steal the knowledge of the culture, as they’ve done with many cultures over the millennium. Once they have stolen this knowledge, they disenfranchise the natives by taking over their way of life and spreading tales of their beginnings. These beginnings slowly exclude the natives, until little semblance of who they were is left. They change monuments, destroy monuments and create new ones in their image, using the history of the natives as their background.

The natives slowly begin to lose a sense of who they are. They forget their origins, because these parasites have taken control of their words, thoughts and ultimately, their history. What was once the history of the indigenous people has now become the history of these invaders. Like a virus, they sweep in and destroy everything in their path, leaving nothing of the indigenous life. All that once was in no more. It is reduced to rumors and conjectures, and eventually fades from the memories of even the invaders.

Ancient histories have been destroyed, distorted, changed, convoluted and hidden by these people who must never be named. Truths are suppressed with force. And anyone who even remotely attempts to bring these truths to light, is swiftly and painfully subdued by the new powers that be. These powers have taken control of everything. All facets of life, science, art, religion, history, philosophy and news has been carefully and methodically controlled by these marauders.

Throughout history, each country that finally awakens to their shenanigans is stunned into disbelief before realizing that their entire downward spiral has been because of these people. Even upon first discovery, nothing is done. Because these people have found a clever way of quelling any and all negative commentary about their behavior. A single word that sheds even a candle light of ill repute on them is met with brutal criticism, ruined lives and often, unexplained or accidental deaths. Even worse, some of these poor souls are driven mad by their covert yet focused harassment, often leaving the harassed confused at the unfurling of their lives.

But let us not shed too much light on these things, lest these people become incensed. There is nowhere to hide from them. Because now they have many countries in their claw like grip, which are hypnotized by these clever performers. So many of these poor people have no idea why world wars were or are being waged, why there is internecine warfare, why things are spiraling downwards, why freedom is dying, why they have access to limited information, why they feel they cannot think for themselves, but instead, amble along like sheep in a plush green pasture. They have no answers to any of the whys and they do not realize that this is intentional. They have stopped asking because they have been told to stop asking. They have been told that if they “think” for themselves, there are consequences. This subtle suggestion has trapped many in front of the television. It has kept them rooted to a way of receiving information that is unhealthy and intellectually debilitating. They are trained to never see truth.

If they happen to discover something about these people who must never be named, they are to keep it to themselves. And if anyone else makes mention of these people and their unsavory ways, they are to launch into defending them, even though they know the truth. Because to not defend them, would turn an unpleasant light on their lives. So they go along with it all. And they, without realizing it sometimes, assist these people in furthering their evil cause, never realizing that in the end, they too will be destroyed by them, regardless of their protection of them. And that is because we are not them. We will never be them.

Those who must never be named are angry. They are angry because people are discovering that they have no history. They are discovering that they are nothing more than common thieves and as with all thieves, they will deny to the bitter end that they have stolen anything. But they have stolen many things. All that they are and ever will be is from theft. And this is the thorn in their side. They deflect this thorn, making it seem as though it is the “other” who is the problem-it is others who hate them. But as we know from psychology, it is typical for people who cannot own up to their degenerate state of mind to project who they are onto others. This projection for these people is overwhelming. So overwhelming that even those who are sane begin to believe them. They begin to believe that maybe they are the problem. But they do not realize that they are simply caught in an international insane asylum.

These people know who they are. And that is why they take pains to subvert all information that would lead anyone to believe they are anything other than how they view themselves. They do not realize the sickness in the notion of perfection. They cannot see that it is in their attempt to change history that they are revealed for the charlatans they are. Truth can only be dimmed for a time. When any one group begins to hold themselves above everyone else, and is willing to destroy lives to maintain their beliefs (even the lives of their own to further their cause), it is a clear indicator of a sickness. It is one thing to believe ourselves to be great, but an entirely different thing to completely denigrate (to the point of affecting one’s livelihood) any one person or group of people who make light of our inadequacies.

Those who must never be named will continue to lie, steal, cheat, hate, ban, berate, kill and maim anyone who attempts to unearth their past. They will ensure that no one discovers the truth of their lives and how they came to be where they are. At all costs, they will destroy even the softest voice in the wilderness who peacefully attempts to share truths. And that is because they have no interest in truth, only in their lies surviving. Because if their lies die, they are spiritually, socially and economically dead. No one must know of their true beginnings. No one must know that they, in truth, have nothing…they have created nothing, they have built nothing, they have invented nothing. Their only art is deception.

This knowing is what haunts them. The ghosts of ancestors past haunt them. They cannot and will not sleep as long as they continue to deceive others. Even as I write this, I can feel the restlessness of their spirits, the recognition that swells in the depths of their soul, agitating them to speak, to uncover themselves. They feel the hot breath of the ancestors on their neck. It is why they scamper to change history, scamper to ruin lives, scamper to silence truth speakers. They are haunted by their past. And nothing they can do, short of admission, will put the spirits to rest.
