Bar Iran from nuclear arms to avoid World War III: Bush

WASHINGTON: President George W. Bush Wednesday warned Iran must be barred from nuclear weapons to avoid the prospect of “World War III,” and dismissed suggestions of a US-Russia rift on the crisis.

Bush upped US rhetoric at a White House news conference, warning the world must do more to isolate the Islamic republic.

“We’ve got a leader in Iran who has announced that he wants to destroy Israel,” Bush said.

“So I’ve told people that, if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from having the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”

Q No.1. Dyslexia; Seems W. has some congnative disablities, but he is not stupid. Seems he doesn’t have any idea about introspection or just hearing himself talk. perhaps he doesn’t really care what words he uses or what he ends up saying. he is directly responsable for the illegal deaths of many thousands of human beings.
these deaths didn’t happen because of w’s dyslexia. perhaps they occured because he is a greedy, hate-filled, murderous racist that has the power. all we have is a fantasy that he, and the others, will end up in prison for a very long time. but we can’t count on justice, can we! and the american people are not going to say or do anything about this.
Q No. 3.; seems rus has change somewhat and is trying to join the social, ecconomic systems of the world. rus must figure out a way to deal fairly and justly with chechnia, and others, or rus will not get where it wants to go.
the US is going down fast. seems the military is about the only “strength” left. and that is failing too! politically the US is a one party system now, there is no difference between dem. and rep. but the people are unable to see the problems. so, the US will continue with the chaos and destruction and death untill they run out of ammo. then the people will see what they squandered and gave away, will see they are a third world country now too.
but it is already too late.
this is what my “crystal ball” shows me.

Pretty low of you to put those two in the same boat. Of course, that WAS your point.

But nonetheless, there is more than just a difference of intelligence here. One of the two must by all accounts be acknowledged to be an actor in his own right – someone whose opinions and decisions MATTER. The other one….well, what can we say? Do we have any evidence that that other fellow ever decided anything? That he was ever anything more than a pawn?

Americans often like to point out that their government could not possibly carry out any long-term agenda – devious or otherwise – because their country was obviously run by idiots. Yet there are obviously plenty of intricate and criminal agendas in progress. 1+1 = ? If those agendas are clearly not being fashioned by the idiots, well then, who is doing the planning??

Of course, thanks to the samizdat press and a bit of thinking plenty of folks KNOW who is doing the planning; let’s be honest folks, we shouldn’t expect the Emperor’s press agencies like the NYT to point out that he is scantily clad. As for the Russian media, some honest glimpses behind the charades played in North America and Europe are to be had, but it could be a lot more direct.

I think the interesting question is: Why isn’t the Russian media more explicit about the charades being played in the so-called ‘West’? After all, these charades are clearly designed to provoke sympathy for assigning Russia to an Axis of Evil #45. How about some clearer words here, Putka? How about calling a spade a spade and at least hint at who Russia’s real enemy is? It certainly ain’t Dubya.
