Dear Anwaar, I think I am late. I just saw this website.
I am Pakistani, have served with high officials and I cannot name them. TruthSpring surprised me like a etincelle in the dark. Due to confidentiality and sensitive nature of my activities, can’t express openly.
The bottom line is that there is no escape from ourselves. The truth must be faced. I have many hopes from the younger generation of officers in the Armed Forces, who accept competitiveness and ever committed.

Dear Mr. Anwar, you write like a spokesman from Tel-Aviv or The State Department. The Pakistan Taliban are on the CIA/Indian Intelligence payroll, just like the politicians in power. General Musharraf actually confronted Admiral Mullen on US funding of the Pakistan Taliban. That’s why, using the usual flood of US dollars, he was replaced by more obedient politicians. Like Professor Michel Chossudovsky, instead of being self-loathing, please expose the tactics being implemented by the US Zionists to split Pakistan into 5 countries, like they did with Sudan, Yugoslavia, Soviet Union, East-Timor, etc.

To admin and poster of the Curran article, I have to ask further. How can anybody possibly deny or ignore the reactions from the rape victim herself, Ms Mukhtaran Mai? Newsweek published an interview with MM, just a day after Currans article, in which she expressed great concern and disappointment at the acquittal verdicts. Further the reactions of MM have been well documented over time and this entire acquittal business going back 5-6 years has kept the woman in a limbo of not knowing. Justice for rape victims or any other victims is rare meted out in Pakistan. The judicial, legal, political, social system is corrupted from top to bottom so nobody stands much hope.

So thank you to the blog owner for speaking out and I hope you keep this up. Why would the rape victim say this? And does the author/critic, Curran, not owe herself to include the comment and reaction of MM? Clearly by omitting this, she essentially is calling MM a liar.

When Allama Iqbal wrote “Shikwa” some rigid and narrow minded so called Muslim scholars of that era declared Dr. Iqbal a rebellious minded person who is being disrespectful to Allah.

I know for fact that Anwaar did not mean disrespect to Allah (Astaghfirullah) when he said this to complain the behavior of many Muslims: “It seems that even God has lost control of those who profess to follow Him”. If Allama Iqbal was alive today, he would have said the same thing in his Shikwa to Allah.
