Scream!!!!!
by Anwaar Hussain
Admin’s Note : Corporal Jesse Macbeth’s video has become controversial. Journalistic integrity demands that I publish this clarification note. The readers must read the following story with caution now. I do, however, stand by my sentiment in the article regarding the US occupation of Iraq in particular and the Neocons’ onslaught on the Muslim world in general. The article, therefore, will stay.

Watch it and then decide you want to whimper, cry or scream, but watch it you must.Watch and cry over the American slaughter of innocent human beings.
The Oil Boil
by Anwaar Hussain
As America’s naval armadas continue to surf the Persian Gulf, hovering just off the Iranian waters, the supreme commander of the US armed forces recently said that threats from Mr Ahmadinejad, particularly towards Israel, had to be “dealt with”. He told Germany’s Bild am Sonntag newspaper that if Mr Ahmadinejad was ready to destroy one country (Israel), “then he would also be ready to destroy others”. President Bush added: “This is a threat that needs to be dealt with.”
Are the Iranian president’s blustering statements towards Israel really the cause for this ominous proclamation from the US president? Or is it Iran’s nuclear ambitions that have caused it? Or is the oil boil finally reaching its global critical temperature? Read more
Ahmadinejad Needs to Learn
by Anwaar Hussain
It is becoming clearer with each passing day that Iran’s President Ahmadinejad has much to learn.
It all started in October last year when the newly elected Iranian President told a conference called “The World without Zionism” that “there is no doubt that the new wave (of attacks) in Palestine will wipe off this stigma (Israel) from the face of the Islamic world.”
The Israeli Vice Premier Shimon Peres immediately responded by a call to the UN to expel Iran from the United Nations. “Since the United Nations was established in 1945, there has never been a head of state that is a U.N. member state that publicly called for the elimination of another U.N. member state” adding, “there is no place in the world body for such a country.” The then Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, a kind hearted gentleman of great standing in the Israeli history, too joined this humane call by saying, “a state which calls for the destruction of another people cannot be a member of the United Nations.” How true. Of Little Boys and Fat Men
by Anwaar Hussain
Little Boy and Fat Man were the first nuclear weapons used in warfare. Little Boy was dropped from a B-29 bomber, it exploded approximately 1,800 feet over Hiroshima, Japan, on the morning of August 6, 1945, with a force equal to 13,000 tons of TNT. Immediate deaths were reported to be between 70,000 to 130,000. Fat Man was dropped on Nagasaki three days later, on August 9, 1945, devastating more than two square miles of the city and causing approximately 45,000 immediate deaths. America was the country that first used that weapon. Read more
Military Coup in the United States of America?
by Anwaar Hussain
On the Possibility of a Military Coup in the United States of America
About the possibilities of a military coup in the United States, historian Andrew Jonas said this;
“Coup d’etat in the United States would be too fantastic to contemplate, not only because few would actually entertain the idea, but also because the bulk of the people are strongly attached to the prevailing political system and would rise in defense of a political leader even though they might not like him. The environment most hospitable to coups d’etat is one in which political apathy prevails as the dominant style.”The question to ask is whether ‘political apathy’ now ‘prevails as the dominant style’ in the United States of today or not? In The Name of God
by Anwaar Hussain
In a screaming instance of a heart rending paradox in the Muslim world, an Afghan convert to Christianity is to be tried in a Kabul court for apostasy, a ‘crime’ that is punishable by death in that country. Despite clear injunctions in the Quran that “there is no compulsion in religion” and “to you your own religion and to me, mine”, an innocent man may be executed while we stand by and watch this gruesome charade in the name of God. The Muslim moderates, of course, continue to remain submerged in their deafening silence. Read more
